You will have the opportunity to join a highly professional Technical Services team, where you will work closely with the mine operations department and enjoy a highly sought after career path.
You will have the responsibility of developing design plans, undertaking project work as directed, reviewing of site strategies for the long term improvement of the efficiency of site operations and facilitating business improvement strategies. This is just a taste of the diversity and challenges that this role will present to the incumbent.
You will ideally:
· Have a high level commitment to health and safety principles.
· Be a tertiary qualified engineer in a relevant discipline, with a demonstrated background in a large open cut mining environment.
· Have very high levels of computer literacy and more specifically mine planning and scheduling software.
· Be an exceptional communicator across different levels of an operation.
