Located in [Location], our client supplies to some of the major players in the mining industry and seek 3 Conveyor Maintenance Technicians to join their team. This is a large and well known company and can offer great opportunities for career growth both metro based and beyond!
As a Conveyor Maintenance Technician you will be involved in:
· Rubber work within the workshop
· Pulley and roller lagging
· General rubber lining
· Conveyor belt work within the workshop
· Assisting in the manufacture of chutes and hoppers
To be successful you must:
· Have a good work ethic and be punctual and reliable
· A can do attitude
· A good mechanical aptitude
· Enjoy working in a multicultural environment
· Be able to work well in a small team
Ideally, you will have previous experience in rubber line or belt splicing or knifework but training will be offered to the right candidate. This position may also suit someone from a sheetmetal or similar manufacturing background. A good mechanical aptitude is a must!
