Our client, a diversified metals and mining group with revenues in excess of USD 6.5 billion, is on the hunt for a Chief Geologist for their underground copper operation located on the picturesque West Coast of Tasmania.
Reporting to the Mining Manager, your primary function will be to lead and manage the Geology section for mine geology as well as exploration of future targets.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess the following skills and experience:
· BSc Degree or equivalent in Geology
· Minimum of 10 years of geological experience in an underground environment
· Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Senior Geologist
· Good oral and written communication skills are essential
