ROMCO Equipment
Co. is currently seeking an experienced Product Support Manager for our North Texas Region who is
self-motivated and can demonstrate well-established leadership ability. The daily
responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, supervision
of multiple employees, production improvement, and quality control, while
fostering team building, delivery performance and maintaining customer
satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will facilitate the ongoing development of the branch’s
service function with consideration for all product lines carried. The
candidate will serve as a liaison between sales/rental and service departments
to ensure customer satisfaction. Position covers the North Texas Region
and is based in Dallas, Texas.
- The Product Support Manager at ROMCO is
responsible for:
- Acting as an
intermediary between customers and management to identify issues
- Provide
support in the form of technical research and coordination of information/efforts
between manufacturers and service department personnel.
- Promote and
support Volvo Construction Equipment, Hitachi Construction and Mining
Equipment, Eagle Iron Works and GOMACO, as well as their product support
activities.?
- Coordinate the
product training for all service personnel.
- Increase customer
satisfaction and increase the branch’s service capacity and capability by
identifying and promoting best practices.
- Support and drive
activities within the branch to meet and/or exceed ROMCO’s goals for each
region.?
- Candidates who merit consideration will meet the following requirements:
- Associates degree
(from a recognized technical school) or equivalent experience required.
Bachelors degree preferred.?
- Thorough knowledge
of construction equipment products. Five years of experience in the
construction and mining equipment business.?
- Customer service
and sales experience a plus.?
- Strong
interpersonal skills.?
- Strong written and
verbal communication skills with emphasis on training individuals and groups?
- Candidates MUST have hands on experience and/or qualified training in the
repair and maintenance of Heavy Construction and Mining Equipment.
- Candidates should
have a minimum
of 5 years supervisory experience.
- Equivalent mechanical
experience is recommended.
- Candidates are
also required to have a clear driving record and verifiable employment
references.
