With your high levels of mine planning experience and your desire to move into a role with a highly successful coal mining company at one of their major Queensland operations, this is an opportunity that will present you with new challenges to get your career heading in the right direction.
This is a ready made role for a Mining Engineer with planning experience, who is accustomed in working on the development of the strategic direction of an open cut coal operation. You will have the abilities required for implementation of long term and medium term business objectives for this open cut coal operation.
You will have experience in identification of technical and business improvement that will enable an increase in productivity levels and meet budget targets, along with planning expertise to meet or exceed company objectives.
You will also be accustomed to completing design work including conceptual designs, recommendations for future development of the mine and optimising quantities and capabilities for the long term growth of production.
Ideally success in your application is dependant on you:
· Having relevant tertiary qualifications.
· Having 4+ years experience in a major open cut mining operation.
· Being highly conversant with computer planning and scheduling applications.
· Being an excellent communicator.
· Being extremely experienced with planning, analysis and problem solving.
