They are currently seeking a Mining Engineer that is looking to develop their career in line with the company and move into the strategic role of Manager Mine Planning.
With your already well developed skills in team development and mentoring you will hold a significant position within the company structure, where you will have the ability to lead a technical team from the front in many aspects such as:
· Mine planning, scheduling and long term development.
· Communicating across all levels of the operation to ensure resource efficiency levels are met.
· Preparing reports on a regular basis to present to management.
· Ensure that safety and environmental issues are addressed effectively.
Ideally:
· You will be a tertiary qualified Mine Engineer with experience in an open cut mining environment.
· You will have worked at a senior level in the past.
· You will have a demonstrated background in a team leadership capacity.
· You will be accustomed to working in a large scale operation.
