A great opportunity exists with a major national/international engineering consultant based in [Location], Australia, Support all types of industry sectors, including major Utilities (Power, Water and Gas), Environmental, Civil (rail, road and air) engineering and Structural (commercial and Industrial) engineering design and construct projects. Defence industries, mining - materials handling, minerals processing, and many more.
Our client is searching for an experienced IT engineer to join their expanding [Location] IS department, to manage their customer Infrastructure needs. Supported by a strong established team, this role allows for a level of autonomy in establishing your expertise in systems design and enhancement, as a key contributor to the overall business success.
You are able to demonstrate a capacity to manage projects from design through to implementation and handover. You have experience in application scipting/packaging and automated deployment systems and as needed, SOE development and improvement. You can provide recommendations regarding design, implementation of systems and processes, supporting and improving consistencies and efficiencies of the CAD tools.
Proven experience in scripting and packaging, desktop management and/or CAD support is required to be considered for this role, including an excellent knowledge of Windows XP (registry, user profiles etc.).
You will also have sound experience in either of the following:
· Managesoft or SMS deployment systems AND
· Software packaging (MSI, Installshield, Wise) OR
· Supporting and using CAD sofware (AutoCAD or Microstation) AND
· CAD licensing systems
