Process Engineer - Uranium Mill

[Company] is seeking candidates for Process Engineers at their White Mesa Mill in southeastern Utah.
These position will provide technical support for the efficient recovery of uranium and vanadium oxides from ores supplied to the mill from mines and other sources in the region.
White Mesa is the only uranium mill in the USA that is currently licensed and fully operational. Originally constructed in 1979, this 2000 tpd dual-circuit mill recently completed a $22 million upgrade and is expanding its tailings capability.
[Company] is a premier intermediate producer of uranium in North America.
Desired qualifications include a BS degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or closely related field of study.
Experience in a mineral processing operation of comparable size and complexity will be helpful. Knowledge of bulk sampling methods, laboratory testing, crushing, grinding, liquid/solid separation and mixing, leaching, settling, solvent extraction, precipitation, Ph control and reagent adjustment would be ideal. Level of responsibilities and compensation varies with level of experience.
Blanding is a growing community of about 4500 people located in a region that includes several picturesque, internationally-known national parks and monuments with abundant recreational opportunities.
Located at an elevation of approximately 6000 ft., the weather is dry with moderate temperatures and statistically free of any natural hazards. Most public services are available, including a fully accredited college.
