Project Procurement Professionals

Our client is an undisputed leader in their industry with revenues in excess of $25 billion.  As part of their ongoing drive for excellence, our client recently embarked on a strategic global procurement re-engineering project across all international business functions. 

A variety of Project Procurement Professionals are required for their three global hubs – EMEA, AsiaPac and South America.  You will have the unique opportunity to work on challenging and complex capital intensive mega projects ranging from US$100m – US$3 billion.   

You will manage Project Procurement in terms of selecting and executing group framework categories, strategising and procuring non framework categories and managing EPCM procurement resources. 

The ultimate objective is to achieve savings in line with Group strategic objectives.   

Main Responsibilities

·         Work in dynamic Capital Project teams to develop project procurement strategies and sequencing (aligned to overall Group strategies)
·         Execute capital project procurement plans for large projects ($100m - $3 billion+)
·         Provide cost information for capital procurement estimates
·         Achieve Project Procurement process management to Group best practice
·         Strategic category development and execution of project specific categories
·         Ensure optimum delivery time, cost and quality of procured good and services for BU projects
·         Manage and report on project procurement performance 

Experience/Education

·         A number of years Capital Procurement and Projects experience
·         Bachelor degree level, preferably in engineering and/or business administration or equivalents. Alternatively, a relevant combination of formal (procurement-related) qualifications and additional specialised studies
·         A proven track record in capital intensive asset rich industries would be beneficial
