Electrician

An exciting opportunity exists for an electrician with industrial experience to develop their skills within the mining industry with the added advantage of residing on the stunning West Coast!

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the key responsibilities for this position include:
·         Assisting with the maintenance of the process plant and other equipment to optimise plant efficiency
·         Ensuring that accurate records of electrical diagrams and work carried out are maintained at all times
·         Supporting electrical project work including liaising with suppliers when required
·         Ensuring that all electrical equipment is installed and maintained in line with safety standards.

The successful incumbent for this role will have relevant post apprenticeship trade or industrial maintenance experience. Experience with high voltage switching would be highly regarded. Mining industry experience is desirable but not essential.

The successful applicant should possess:
·         A relevant trade qualification
·         An excellent degree of computer literacy
·         The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining quality
·         Well developed written and verbal communication skills
·         A high commitment to health and safety.
