Requirements:
·         Metallurgical or Technical Degree
·         Total Quality Management Diploma
·         Certified ISO 9001:2000 Auditor
·         Min of five years exp in a Quality Manager/Production Manager position in the mining/motor manufacturing industry.
·         Sound knowledge and experience in ISO standards and applications.
·         Implement and manage the ISO 9001:2000 quality management system.
·         Draft/update procedures for each process in liaison with the relevant process owners.
·         Schedule and conduct internal audits.
·         Monthly scrap and escape performance reports.
·         Monthly supplier PPM performance and customer complaints.
·         Warranty claims.
·         Supplier rejections.
·         Facilitate continuous improvements.
·         Conduct and manage root cause analysis and take corrective action.
·         Evaluate and control customer returns.
·         Review heat treatment specifications.
·         Implement mission directed work teams.
·         Purchase and implement gauge control software; packing and drilling machines, develop improved test rigs for Drills.
·         Responsible for quality control and building of quality processes into the manufacturing processes.
·         Management and development of subordinates.
