Product Manager, Capital Projects,

[Company] is increasing its product management group in response to a growing market demand for its products and services.
The prime objective of this hiring is the strengthening of [Company] domain expertise.
We are looking for a Product Manager with in-depth capital project experience and solid communication skills to assume this responsibility.
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Understanding of large capital projects in one or more of our target markets: energy & utilities, mining, oil and gas, nuclear market segments
- Familiarity with ECM, Work Flow Management and Project Management solutions
- Familiar with EPC and Owner Operator work environments
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Minimum of 10 years' business experience
- Minimum of 5 years involved with large capital projects
- International market experience would be an asset
- Minimum undergraduate business or engineering degree
Preferred Experience
- Product management experience in a high-tech/software company
- Experience defining product software requirements
- Technical work experience
Roles and Responsibilities
- Defining product marketing requirements
- Working closely with Engineering/Development, Sales and Marcom
- Conducting market research into competitor product features/capabilities
- Assisting with product prioritization and the development of product delivery schedules; monitoring and reporting on progress of product delivery
- Assisting in the launch of new products/functionality
- Some international travel will be required
