The Plant Process Section Leader will work alongside the both the Pre-project team and the Product Lifecycle Managers (PLM’s) for Plate Mill and Plate Steckel Mill to provide process support

Description:
The Plant Process Section Leader will work alongside the both the Pre-project team and the Product Lifecycle Managers (PLM’s) for Plate Mill and Plate Steckel Mill to provide process support for these MT products.
They will also provide resource to the individual Integrated Plant Project Managers to ensure that the plants are commissioned and FAC’s are delivered to schedule.
As such the Section Leader will be responsible for managing a dedicated team of process Engineers and for co-coordinating with the various UK and SAG MT PA departments and teams.

Responsibilities:
·         You will be responsible for pre-project support including production of process throughput calculations and rolling schedules; production of plant process guarantees and sign off the hours budget for each of the pre-projects at the QG100 stage; co-ordination of verification of EMF (Review Process); publishing results to group (internal).
·         You will also be responsible for PLM Support including analysis and consolidation of achieved plant process performance; generation of future plant development requirements, based on commissioning experience; production of commissioning manuals/specification and production build-up plan; production and delivery of plant operation training, including documentation and management of plant hot commissioning phase.
·         As Plant Process Section Leader you will be expected to be able to know all relevant company standards and procedures and have a good understanding of the Steel Plate and Steckel rolling process and related equipment. You must be able to demonstrate strong team leadership skills.
