Successful candidates will be required to join the OE955 union.

Position Scope:

This is a site based Fort McMurray position, working 14x14, camp accommodations are NOT provided.

Successful candidates must be willing to join the OE955 union.

Responsibilities:

  • Must have minimum 3 years of experience. S
  • uccessful candidates must have experience with service/fuel combo units and must be a certified Journeyman Mechanic or Red Seal Journeyman Mechanic.
  • Candidates must be familiar with troubleshooting/diagnositic procedures with on road equipment truck/trailer and the ability to work on busses, lube trucks and picker trucks.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Summary:

All successful candidates must:

  1. Be proficient in English, both verbally and written
  2. Have a valid Class 5 Driver's License
  3. Have experience as requested as mentioned above
  4. Undergo and successfully pass the following testing:
    1. Breath Alcohol Test
    2. Urine Drug Test
    3. Fitness-to-Work Assessment
    4. Audiometric Testing
    5. Vision Screening
    6. Criminal Record Check

Shift, site, and start times are subject to change.

All successful candidates MUST provide the following items prior to confirmation of their start date:

  1. OSSA Certification
  2. CSTS Certification
  3. Copy of Valid Class 5 Driver's License
  4. Copy of recent Driver's Abstract
  5. VOID cheque/direct deposit form

Once dispatched the following processes will occur:

  1. Will receive a call from [Company] to set up all required pre-employment testing
  2. An email will be sent with all required New Hire Paperwork to be filled out
  3. After all results are received by [Company] candidates will be contacted by Site Admin to schedule orientation and confirm your start date and other site specific details.
