Job Overview and Responsibilites
Provides preventative and repair maintenance support to the mine operations, ensuring safe and continuous operation. Primarily responsible for the lubrication of assigned mine equipment. Assists and trains with others in all maintenance tasks. Participates and assists in cleanup, Production and Utility job tasks. Actively participates in safety, crew, department and company meetings. Must be willing to work shift work and overtime.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED required .

  • Have the ability to prioritize and organize required job activities.

All Candidates will be tested in the following:
  • Reading comprehension
  • Math skills
  • Mechanical aptitude (written)

Qualifications
Must be able to lift, pull/push and carry equipment, tools and other objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Candidates must have a basic knowledge of troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic and mechanical systems related to underground mining equipment. Excellent reading comprehension and math skills are required.
