      Mobile Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient operation and maintenance of the front end loader in order to provide material for the production of concrete.

      Requirements

  • Operate loader to continuously fill bins with material to keep pace with production.
  • Operate loader to stockpile incoming material and keeping the yard orderly and the material stacked
  • Inspect the loader daily for any pre, during or post maintenance needs
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on loader as required
  • Assist batch plant operator in cleaning and maintenance of plant

      Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Dependable and predicable attendance is required
  • One year experience operating front end loader
  • Able to operate loader at a rapid pace, continuously for long periods of time
  • Able to work with little supervision
  • Able to operate hand levers and foot pedals simultaneously
  • Climb approximately 5 feet from the ground on a ladder to enter loader cab as many as 40 times per day
  • Lift approximately 25 lbs, to carry parts and tools to all areas of the loader and plant
  • Climb as high as 75 feet from the ground on a ladder
  • Bend, stoop, crawl, reach and kneel to perform maintenance on loader
  • Must be able to work at least 16 hours in one day and as much as 90 hours in a six day week
  • Work outside in all weather conditions consistent with extreme ambient temperatures of the area: heat, cold, dust, wet and dry. Noise levels up to 90 dbs
  • Must be able to perform duties in a safe manner. This job requires the ability to wear a hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, and safety reflective vest
