Working at Newmont Boddington Gold Operations you can live locally and go home after every shift or stay in the Village for your swing and DIDO. The site is only 130kms from the Perth CBD and approximately 100kms from the coast.

[Company] is proud to be partnering with Newmont Boddington Gold to deliver recruitment, labour hire and workforce services. We currently have the following opportunities working on a 7 days on, 7 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off roster performing 12 hour shifts - a great work/life balance.

Service Person (Heavy Mobile Equipment): Responsible for the Planned Maintenance servicing and associated tasks to support the Mining Mobile Fleet. The Service Person is required to ensure maintenance activities are completed in a safe, efficient and effective manner, maximising the amount of scheduled maintenance and minimising the impact of unscheduled works.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Ten years experience as a Service Person
  • Experience in the maintenance of Caterpillar Haul Trucks, Dozers, Loaders and Graders
  • Experience operating a CAT 773/777 size Service Vehicle
  • CAT SIS and Contamination Control training
  • Basic computer skills
  • HR Class Drivers licence
  • Commitment to a safe and efficient workplace
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen

Desirable Knowledge, Skills, experience and Qualifications:

  • Mechanical Trade Qualification
  • SAP experience
  • High Risk Licence: CN crane, Forklift, Elevated Work Platform, Working at Heights, Rigging and Dogging 
  • Senior First Aid certificate
