Position Purpose:

  • Parts Clerk requests, receives, and verifies, issues, processes and stocks parts and supplies. Turns in recoverable and excess parts. May use various material handling devices (forklifts and pallet jacks) to stock and pull parts orders for customers. Assists in the annual physical inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and facilitates all parts material requests in a timely manner to insure that the customer expectations are met.
  • Issue parts and supplies to mechanics and record on work orders.
  • Ensuring the proper storage and inventory of all parts.
  • Keeping a record of the entire inventory and reporting any loss of damages to the Parts Manager.
  • Ensuring the proper replenishment of stock and inventory.
  • Assisting in filling purchase orders and other related documentations.
  • Assisting in the billing and ensuring the delivery of sold goods.

Qualifications

  • Must have basic computer skills and knowledge of a perpetual inventory system.
  • Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must be able to perform mathematical calculations, including decimals and percentages.
  • Promotes an atmosphere of good will and accountability between the company and the customer. Act in professional manner and provides a superior level of customer service and satisfaction. Building trust with customer personnel through your honesty and integrity.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs regularly throughout the workday.
