About this role:

In a newly formed global Sustainability Strategy team, this technical role leads the continuing implementation of our Climate Change Strategy and our focus on achieving net zero emissions by 2050. It includes the identification and response to climate change, including both transition and physical risk and opportunity, as well as the ongoing communication to external and internal stakeholders.


  • Owns the [Company] Climate Change Strategy
  • Develops and manages specific cross-functional projects to continue progress against the Climate Change Strategy, from overall decarbonisation projects to updating scenario analysis
  • Leads strategic identification process on climate-change related risks and opportunities, including transitional and physical
  • Delivers contemporary research and analysis to inform internal stakeholders
  • Represents [Company] in Climate Change specific external groups

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Specific technical knowledge of climate change-related risks and opportunities.
  • Knowledge and proven ability to identify, develop and manage company-wide projects to build resilience and identify opportunities in relation to climate change for multi-geography company
  • High level of expertise in research and analysis, specifically on climate change.
  • Exposure to investor community (ESG) on climate change
  • Able to construct disclosure from the recommendations of the Task-force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures.
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business integration and excellence in project implementation.
  • Highly developed project management skills and ability to prioritise actions that have the largest impact on the business
  • Outstanding influencing and communication skills.
