WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

The Product Manager of Mining will oversee product line development and address lubricant related issues in mining applications. Specific responsibilities include:

Develop strong understanding of market conditions and competitive landscape in order to prioritize opportunities and achieve growth objectives of the Mining Division

Define the product portfolio roadmap and build productive relationships throughout the organization to achieve strategy development and project execution.

Direct new product development projects with the R&D Department and act as technical advisor and liaison to the Fuchs lab.

Interact with customers to better understand their needs and obtain OEM

Act as the "voice of the customer" to the remainder of the organization.

Support the sales group through application knowledge, product recommendations, technical problem solving, business development assistance, and customer and sales rep training.

Contribute content for new product launches and product marketing activities.

Travel:

20% of time, mainly within the USA

WHAT WE EXPECT

A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Chemistry or Engineering is preferred, yet other degrees with demonstrated technical abilities will also be considered.

Experience with lubricants including success in roles such as product development, formulation and laboratory work, plus experience in field service, technical sales, or marketing.

Knowledge of lubricant application, use, and maintenance in the product space.

The ability to manage multiple priorities, make decisions with good judgment, think strategically to identify opportunities, and lead initiatives within a self-directed project team.

Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
