The Role

  • This role exists to ensure production occurs in a safe and timely manner. The Utility Operator acts as an added part of the Quality Control team manually identifying potential hazards and errors in products before they are transported to customers.
  • Knowledge of where product should be stored in the plant
  • Warehouse inventory tracking and awareness of potential hazards in various work areas
  • Work Environment involves being outside in all types of weather

Experience and Qualifications

  • High School degree or equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to read and write the English language
  • 6 months previous work experience with preference for manufacturing or operations type roles
  • Mechanical aptitude with ability to quickly determine potential issues and problem solve accordingly
  • Requires thorough and meticulous completion of regulatory paperwork

  • Ability to pas a pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen.

Physical Requirements

  • Work Environment involves being outside in all types of weather.
  • Must be flexible to plant operation demands including work schedules.
  • Lifting up to 60 pounds including tools and bags of product.
  • Carrying 50 pounds or more of product or other materials.
  • Pushing/Pulling in working with equipment.
  • Other Activities include frequent standing, bending and squatting with occasional work on knees.
