[Company] is seeking a qualified Production Supervisor at our Princeton Quarry located in Princeton, NC. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position is for both the crushing/processing plant and the mining/open pit area. 

This Production Supervisor is tasked with assisting the Plant Manager with directing and managing all plant operations with overall responsibilities for safety, production, maintenance, quality, and other production-related activities. This position ensures compliance with all standards, policies, and regulations for safe, environmentally-sound production of a quality product. In addition to supervising our plant workforce, this position works with our customers and sales staff to meet business needs. This position is also responsible for coordinating and directing many of the day-to-day activities at the quarry operation while maintaining the company's high standards.

What you'll get to do:
  • Assist with planning and direction of the daily operations of a quarry producing crushed granite.
  • Effectively and proactively administer [Company]'s safety program ensuring compliance with MSHA rules and regulations,
  • Manage direct reports under the guidelines of [Company] HR Policies and Procedures,
  • Oversee the production planning, staffing, and day-to-day manufacturing operations in a cost-effective manner,
  • Prepare operational schedule and coordinate production activities to ensure production and quality of products meet specifications,
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
Who we are looking for:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • At least 5 years of experience at an aggregates site
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Proficient working knowledge of MSHA safety requirements
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products
