Salary: £51,470 - £58,377 (depending on experience)

Industrial Power Systems Division is a global supplier of world class engines with a leading aftermarket parts business supporting customers worldwide. The Aftermarket business is a dynamic, growing business and as a result there is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Sales and Marketing group as a Project Manager, contributing to the Division's business and long-term leadership position.

As a key member of the Aftermarket team, this role will report into the Strategy & Planning Manager and will be accountable for ensuring the successful delivery of key projects with significant value propositions and which are vital to Aftermarket growth commitments.

The primary function of this role will be to lead cross-functional project teams to deliver several strategic projects. These projects will be active across Aftermarket functions, including: Supply Chain, Business Systems, Marketing, Pricing and Lifecycle Management. The role will be responsible for the facilitation of project planning workshops and regular project reviews with work stream leaders in multi-stream projects. Delivery of project commitments on time is key, and this role will be responsible for implementing programme metrics and managing associated progress reporting.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Program and Project Leadership across all teams within the Aftermarket Group including regional sales and supply chain teams around the world

• Control Plan management and reporting

• Establishing programme metrics and regular review

• Tracking scorecards related to the Aftermarket projects and business performance

• Working with multiple project teams to ensure project plans and change management activities are in place

• Progress reporting to senior stakeholders

• Communication across multiple Caterpillar divisions

• Occasional travel (5-15% of working time) - predominately UK travel.

Skills and Experience:

Candidates will have gained the following skills and experience through previous roles:

• Leading cross-functional project teams delivering complex projects and programs

• Ability to influence across the organisation

• Expert in use of Microsoft Project, with the ability to plan complex, multi-discipline

• activities

• Educated to a degree standard or equivalent experience

• Excellent numeracy and literacy skills

• Excellent ability to build strong working relationships with a varied stakeholder group

• Strong presentation skills

• Experience within / related to Product Management or Supply Chain

Candidates may have gained the following skills and experience through previous roles:

• 6 Sigma Black Belt qualified

• Knowledge of the Caterpillar Parts business

• Experience within Sales and Marketing
