Our client, a growing company specialized in manufacture and distribution of equipment for drilling and coring, is currently looking for an experienced Regional Export Sales Manager for South East Asia.

Purpose of the role:

You would be responsible for the sales and the development of the sales in South East Asia, reporting to the Export Sales Director. You would be responsible in your area for the established export sales strategy and managing/overlooking the profit centres of the different products

As a Regional Export Sales Manager your main responsibilities, but not limited to, are:

- Identify the targeted export markets for the products proposed by the company
- Make regular customer visits and establish his travel schedule in his territory
- Assist the marketing department in establishing the priorities for the export sales
- Establish the yearly sales budget, together with the sales costs (travel, hotels etc.), for the customers in his territory with the periodic follow-up of the targets
- Participate in and establish the monthly forecast for the company workshop / factory, as well as OEM and purchased products
- Work together with the Manufacturing unit and R&D to keep the quality of our products at the high standard required, as well as respecting the delivery promised to the customers
- Assist the after sales service with comprehensive order information
- Identify new customers, products and sales opportunities, introducing new products
- Responsible for the quotations to his export customers, prices, gross profit margins, delivery time, payment terms….
- Responsible for customer receivables
- Keep check on financial solidity of all customers, old and new, credit cover and risks
- Send TOPICS (information on customers, products, market activity etc.) every 2 weeks.

The successful Regional Export Sales Manager will have:

- Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
- 5 to 10 years’ experience selling technical products in the mining industry
- Good communication and organisation skills 
- Ability to work autonomously and with objectives
