Job Summary

[Company] is currently seeking a Senior Environmental Planner to join our dynamic team of biophysical professionals within our Environment Business Line in the Calgary, AB office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Working with the team on a wide variety of major infrastructure, renewable energy, industrial, mining and oil and gas opportunities
  • Scoping and proposal development
  • Client Liaison
  • Business development activities
  • Project Management and coordination
  • Advising project managers and clients on regulatory requirements associated with both provincial and federal applications
  • Coordinating and preparing environmental approvals and permits required for projects including Federal, Provincial and Municipal permits
  • Coordinating biological field programs
  • Preparation of health and safety and quality management plans
  • Interacting and supporting other offices across Canada

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 10+ years of Environmental Planning experience, in particular as it relates to infrastructure projects
  • Project Management
  • Professional Designation required (P.Biol., P.Ag., P.Geo, etc)
  • Ability to lead a team of technical professionals.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong business development skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP an asset
  • Experience, with:
  • Environmental Planning
  • Project Management
  • Business Development
