  • The Senior Manager of Finance for the United States provides financial leadership to the business with the goal of maximizing shareholder value. This person leads compliance with financial controls and standards.
  • Safety, Health, Environment, and Community
  • Promotes company-wide and SHEC initiatives.
  • Compliance with Safety Charter and immediate reporting of any accidents, injuries or incidents.
  • Participation regularly in safety meetings.
  • Operations
  • Partner with the Country VP to develop business strategy, set annual target and budgets
  • Provide ongoing visibility into financial results with special emphasis on month end reporting variance analysis.
  • Drive performance in their respective country by setting profit improvement and cost reduction plans to meet or beat targets.
  • Provide financial leadership in managing EBIT and cash flow targets.
  • Perform customer and product profitability analysis to weed out low margin business
  • Liaise with Supply and Manufacturing teams to lower cost base of raw material and conversion cost.
  • Proactive capital management
  • Proactive working Capital management (including inventory and receivables)
  • Day to day financial transactions including budget preparation, end of month close, reporting, GQOMS financial support, etc
  • Regional controllership including adherence to financial controls as well as regional champion for measuring adherence to other process controls (SHE, Maintenance, customer, etc) as well as half and full year Letter of Assurance for region
  • Full product costing analysis as well as customer profitability analysis.
  • Drive strategic customer relationships with key global and regional customers head quartered within the zone
  • Drive organizational capability aligned with business strategy including training, talent management, coaching and development

Customer Development

  • Provide support for global tax and global corporate finance in meeting the regional tax and statutory obligations.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Proven senior financial management experience in a large multinational, manufacturing organization across multiple geographies
  • Bachelors in Finance/ Accounting/ Engineering
  • MBA preferred
  • Minimum 7 years in a senior financial position
  • Strong general management capabilities
  • Some travel required.
