About the role

  • The Senior Supply Analyst will coordinate, generate financial analytic support and provide financial advice to the Supply Chain team. Proactively drive cost management in both supply chain and manufacturing organizations by targeting procurement, logistics, plant efficiencies and material usage savings. In addition, manage the strategic financial process for the North America Manufacturing Plants and provide financial services, operational & control support for the business. This position also assists the region’s Manufacturing plants and Supply Sr. Managers in achieving the cost objectives.

What you will be doing

  • Assist in development of supply strategy for the North America business in conjunction with Operations
  • Provide on-time, accurate business information and analysis for all types of cost reporting which includes reconciliation, accurate SG&A/Freight rates by product group used in the supply organization in North America.
  • Ensure the budget and target setting process is sound, well developed and implemented in line with the expectations of the business including the long-term strategic goals
  • Provide bottom up budget and forecasts for cost of goods sold
  • Champion actions to address cost variations and provide input to the implementation of value adding strategies
  • Establish and deploy KPIs and reports that provide mid month visibility into cost trends versus targets
  • Support the Inventory reconciliation process in order to achieve a proper validation including standard reconciliation processes & Inventory reconciliation review
  • Manage all supply components of “cost of goods”; monitor progress towards achievement of budgets and targets

What you bring

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Engineering
  • CPA and/or MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible financial experience in a manufacturing/distribution company
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent financial analysis and report writing
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
