Essential Job Functions

  • Assist customers and/or colleagues in troubleshooting and repairing [Company] equipment in a timely manner.
  • Assist and train customers and MinePro Service Technicians in the maintenance of [Company] equipment.
  • Assist with the validation of P&H product applications prior to formal product release.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for P&H technology products and their specific applications.  This includes initial troubleshooting and problem solving for technology products in the field.
  • Learn new technology as it relates to technology products as they are developed.
  • Take ownership of regional installations of technology products and electrical machine commissioning.
  • Instruct, train, and evaluate MinePro technicians as required by the needs of the business.
  • Provide critical information and feedback to Milwaukee Engineering regarding product performance and integrity.
  • Provide professional technical support for documentation and training products.
  • Conduct technical discussions with customers, supervisors/managers and colleagues.
  • Plan and track jobs. Order materials needed for jobs.
  • Must work well under pressure, meet multiple and competing deadlines.
  • Must have cooperative behavior with colleagues, supervisors/managers, and customers at all times.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to use a wide array of diagnostic and functional tools and specialty instruments.
  • Excellent computer, verbal, and written skills.
  • Flexibility with travel based on needs and overall company objectives.
  • Ability to understand specialized engineering terms and to explain engineering principles in common terms.

Education and or Experience

  • BSEE, BSEET with 5+ years’ experience with variable speed drive controls, PLC’s, Electro-pneumatic, troubleshooting, and electronic control systems.
  • Candidates with equivalent combination of education, training and field experience will be considered.
