Joining the [Company] Advisory group provides an excellent opportunity to join an established team of highly skilled and motivated people who deliver innovative and value added solutions to a diverse range of financial and operating clients. We are looking for an individual to assist in delivering general advisory services within the mining, metal, process, energy, and infrastructure industries. Typical assignments include techno-economic due diligence, mergers and acquisition assistance, lender's engineer and other advisory services to support investment decisions.

Nature of Work:
  • Take responsibility for responding to client requests and preparation of proposals;
  • Take responsibility for delivering segments of analysis within consulting projects, including report writing and editing, presentations and general communications;
  • Work with [Company] and client project teams;
  • Select and use a variety of business analysis tools and techniques, with a focus on the use of Microsoft Excel to develop financial and economic models of various projects;
  • Work on a variety of projects, with exposure to several industries, geographies and project types;
  • Undertake potentially frequent international travel to client/project sites; and
  • Development of general business project skills and/or greater depth of knowledge within an industry or functional specialization.

Education, Skills and Qualifications for this role include:
  • Relevant degree and industry experience relevant to mining, metals, energy, or infrastructure. Specific experience in the light metals and/or non-ferrous industry is an asset;
  • Proven experience in using research and analysis tools (particularly Microsoft Excel);
  • Ability to work independently and under own initiative, or actively contribute as an effective member of a team;
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite of software including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel;
  • Experience working in a high-pressure, deliverable-oriented environment with the ability to multi-task; and,

Fluency in English (verbal and written) is essential and fluency in additional languages will be considered an asset.
