About InfoMine db

InfoMine db is a comprehensive database containing detailed information on thousands of mining companies and mineral properties from producing mines to grass roots exploration projects.

InfoMine db is being continuously updated. It primarily tracks the activity of mining companies publicly listed in Canada, the United States, Australia, London and Johannesburg and the mineral properties that they hold worldwide. Contact information for companies listed in Frankfurt (FWB) is also available on the database. In addition the database tracks the major international listed mining companies trading outside of Canada, US, Australia, London, and Johannesburg and is expanding to cover South American mining companies and their properties. The majority of the information added to the database is obtained from the documents companies file to the various stock exchanges but may be supplimented with additional information obtained from company websites and direct communications with the company. InfoMine db focuses on properties with the following commodities: base metals, precious metals, uranium, oil (oil sands) and diamonds. In addition some properties with other commodities such as rare earths, strategic metals, and other precious stones may also be listed. Properties with other commodities such as coal, industrial minerals and semi precious stones were previously covered on the database but are currently not being updated regularly and the records are archived.

Only companies classified as MONITOR or TRACK are covered in detail on the database. Other companies are listed on the database to provide contact information or to show a relationship with a company that is covered in detail. For easy access to an InfoMine db company or property report use the main InfoMine "SEARCH" box located on the top-left side of almost all InfoMine pages. This searches InfoMine db as well as other parts of the InfoMine Website. Using this search feature InfoMine users can access the address page for a company, which contains links to the InfoMine db report. The company address page also contains links to the Website, Email, Headline News, News Releases, News Links and Stock Quotes for the company.

The main InfoMine "SEARCH" also provides access to the profile page for a property, which contains links to the InfoMine db report. The property profile page also contains location and status information for the property and links to Headline News and the Mineral Property Forum. Properties with Latitude and Longitude information also contain links to various mapping interfaces. The link to map.InfoMine enables you to view the location of the property on InfoMine's interactive mapping interface which also shows the location of other properties listed on InfoMine db and numerous other layers including a world geology layer. The link to Google Earth allows you to view satellite images of the area and includes a link to view a 3D 'fly-in'. Mine Office and Mine Personnel have also been added as InfoMine db report items on the property profile page. To restrict your search to only InfoMine db companies and properties use the "InfoMine db Quick Search" listed on the Companies/Properties section of InfoMine. Please note that the free "InfoMine db Quick Search" is only searchable by company name, stock symbol and company summary or property name. The search by Old name option is only available to subscribers. InfoMine subscribers also have full access the "Advanced Search" which can search InfoMine db by numerous company and property criteria. If you are not a subscriber you can access the "Advanced Search" but your results are limited to Featured Companies which fit your search criteria.

InfoMine db reports are comprehensive reports on companies and properties. These reports are available for InfoMine subscribers at the Advanced, Advanced Plus, Professional, Professional Plus, Corporate, or Corporate Plus level. For examples of InfoMine db reports see:

In addition to InfoMine db reports, InfoMine subscribers at the Advanced Plus, Professional Plus and Corporate Plus levels also have access to all digital Public Filings (PDF files) directly online. These documents are also fully searchable by keyword using the "PDF Document Search". These Public Filings are the documents released by the company and are the source of most of the information listed on InfoMine db reports. To access these Public Filings, users must have the Adobe Acrobat reader installed. If you do not already have this software, you can download it from our site.
