Entree Gold reported to have completed six additional drill holes, totaling 2,316m on the Lordsburg project in New Mexico. Significant copper and gold results were intersected in four of the six holes and results are reported in the table below. Of particular note, a near surface intersection in hole EG-L-09-012 returned potentially economic grades of 0.25% copper and 0.15 g/t gold over 94m, with a CuEq grade of approximately 0.35%, including 60m averaging 0.44% CuEq.

Entrée Gold reported to have expanded its Lordsburg copper-gold discovery in New Mexico, intersecting significant intervals of porphyry-style copper-gold mineralization in three additional holes. Of particular note, a near surface intersection in hole EG-L-09-006 returned potentially economic grades of 0.2% Cu and 0.2 g/t Au over 118 metres. Three additional core holes totaling 1,214 metres have been completed on the porphyry zone discovered in late 2008. The initial intersection (hole EG-L-08-002) returned 310 metres of porphyry-style mineralization averaging 0.14% Cu and 0.08 g/t Au

Entrée Gold reports the discovery of porphyry copper-gold mineralization on its Lordsburg property in New Mexico, USA. Discovery hole EG-L-08-002 cored a 310 metre (1,017 ft) interval of copper and gold mineralization in the northwestern portion of the property. The hole intersected 310 m of 0.14% copper and 0.08 g/t gold with intervals of higher grade mineralization up to 0.33% copper and 0.26 g/t gold.

Announced the discovery of porphyry copper-gold mineralization. The four widely spaced holes were drilled as initial tests for buried porphyry-style copper mineralization based on promising geophysical, geochemical and geological indicators. The hole EG-L-08-002 intersected 310m of 0.14% Cu and 0.08 g/t Au from 156.0m including 14.0m at 0.33% Cu and 0.26 g/t Au from 240.0m.

Reported to have commenced drilling on the western target which is planned to include 2,700 metres (8,850 feet) of diamond drilling, testing several blind geophysical targets in favourable geological settings.
