projector at conferenceThe Continuous Conference platform enhances the exchange of information between these practitioners. Continuous Conferences allows people to participate actively in generating useful and meaningful online content, in order to continue to generate mining intelligence.

Each conference has the participation of:

  • At least one Conference Chair - primary leader and mentor of the conference.
  • Vice Chairs - contributors, mentors, professionals in the field able to participate and orient discussions.
  • At least one Conference Secretary - coordinator and troubleshooting; conference support.
  • Qualified professionals and community members - contributors of papers, notes and discussion based on their unique experience and perspectives.
  • InfoMine IT Support - provide technical support.

The purpose of the Continuous Conferences is to facilitate information exchange about focused mining topics.

Continuous Conferences allow you to:

  • Remain on top of all new advancements and findings in your technical area, without having to wait for a face-to-face conference
  • Network and discuss technical topics with experts from around the world, and build on the conversations that you started at face-to-face conferences
  • Search discussions, papers and notes. This will become a dynamic library for the industry
  • Virtual conferencing allows you to participate from anywhere in the world, at any time that is convenient for you

Participation

Participants are encouraged to contribute information to the conferences on a regular basis. Material that can be shared includes:

  • Conference proceedings;
  • Technical papers;
  • Notes (including articles, PowerPoint presentations, case studies, images, videos);
  • News items; and
  • Discussion topics and commentary

Any participant can submit a paper or note by emailing the . Convenient prompts are located in the Conference platform. We will upload these materials by the end of the next business day.

The discussion forum can be viewed at any time. To participate in the discussion, participants must be registered (or a subscriber) with InfoMine. It is free to register with InfoMine – please click here to create your user profile.

Once you have registered, please send your User Name to the , who will provide conference access.

When you start participating in the dialogue, we encourage you to provide a short introduction indicating you experience in the specific field of interest.

How to contribute to Continuous Conferences

Papers and Notes:

  • Please your publication, proceeding or note (image, PowerPoint, video, etc...) to the Conference Secretary. It will be made available to the public. Commentary will be allowed and can be followed in the discussion area. Papers, presentations, and other media can be shared, added to lists, etc…
  • Please ensure that all material can be identified by Title, name, summary and/or tags/categories
  • PDF, JPEG, PPT… formats are all acceptable

Discussion:

  • The discussion forum can be read by the public at any time.
  • To participate, please:
    1. Register with InfoMine
    2. Please send your User Name information to the , who will grant access to the Conference. Once activated, you will be able to share comments in real time.

    If you are already a subscriber or registrant with InfoMine, please provide your User Name to the to access the Conference Forums.

  • Please indicate a discussion topic title
  • Replies are allowed for each topic
  • Participants of the discussion must abide by the code of conduct of this conference
  • Security and privacy: comments will be filtered for spam. A Conference Chair can delete comments that are offensive or irrelevant to the topic.
