Tom Weitz was the representative for the chapter 7 trustee in the liquidation of the assets from 4 former Pegasus Gold Mines. Below is an interview in which Tom outlines how he used EquipmentMine to help sell these assets.

Which countries and industries are your inquiries coming from?
Tom Weitz:
Approximately 60-75% of the responses are coming from the mining industry, with the remainder being labs and industrial dealers. Most of the inquiries come from North America, Mexico, Peru, Chile and Germany.
EquipmentMine:
How are you receiving your inquiries and how are most of the sales finalized?
Tom Weitz:
Most of the inquiries are through e-mail, with a request for pictures and or specifications. In the next step of the sale, approximately 50% will arrange to view the equipment and the remainder buy site unseen. When the final price is finalized, the preferred payment method is by telegraphic transfer. E-mail is also used to provide the telegraphic transfer information.
