Geoscientists Symposia (GS) and the Australian Institute of Geoscientists (AIG) continue their successful partnership to run quality Symposia. The major theme is ‘UP-SKILLING’ and will include pre- and post-symposia short courses at the Paradise Plaza Hotel and a field workshop on Lombok.
The Symposium features a busy schedule of talks with six internationally-recognised keynote speakers, evening network opportunities and trade booths displaying the latest in commercial technologies to assist in finding the next generation of mines.
The AIG will produce a digital pdf Abstract Volume. The Volume will be available as a digital file on their website in advance of the event. The volume will also be available on a thumb drive at the meeting.
There will be a significant poster component and poster sessions. There is no charge for posters and we especially encourage junior mine and exploration staff and students to present a poster. Please contact the organisers (jaytee@iinet.net.au) to submit a poster
