The MMH is an International Trade Show exclusively devoted to Metallic Mining, a sector which has become strategic in Europe, Spain and especially in Andalusia, a key area for the development and strengthening of this economic activity. It was held for the first time in 2015 with a clear success in terms of participants and visitors. Held biennially, it will exclusively focus again on this activity and it will be a reference meeting point for the whole sector. The venue chosen for this event is the capital of Andalusia, Seville, which will again turn into the world showcase of mining for a few days.
The second edition of this event will take place in Seville Conference and Exhibition Centre (FIBES), Spain, from 17 to 19 October 2017 and it will deal with sustainability, linked to different aspects affecting metallic mining and other related sectors, such as metallurgy and the iron and steel industry which also have to do with technological progress, environment protection and the improvement in processes and performance, thus increasing efficacy in the extraction and treatment of resources.
This initiative aims at providing the main stakeholders of metallic mining from all over the world with a meeting point letting them enjoy a large exhibition area, a complete congress programme and a very substantial appointment book for professional relationships among all the participants who request it.
The MMH is fostered by the Regional Government (Junta de Andalucía); the Association of Extracting, Mining-Metallurgic Transforming and Service Companies, Aminer; the National Confederation of Mining and Metallurgy Companies, CONFEDEM; the Federation of Metal Companies, FEDEME; the Mining Engineering Association in the South of Spain and the Technical Engineering and Degrees in Mining and Energy Association.
