It is impossible to teach underground workers to ‘read the ground’ in a few hours. It is possible, however, to present an ‘alphabet’ of several influences on ground stability which accelerates assimilation in most situations. This 1-day course introduces all underground workers to the alphabet of reading the ground, as an important foundation for other ground assessment courses.
