Property: KUMTOR

Centerra Gold Inc. today reported third quarter net earnings of $20.2 million or $0.09 per common share based on revenues of $158.8 million compared to net earnings of $16.9 million or $0.08 per common share on revenues of $139.4 million in the same quarter of 2008. Consolidated gold production for the third quarter of 2009 totalled 165,883 ounces at a total cash cost of $424 per ounce produced compared to 186,145 ounces at a total cash cost of $446 per ounce produced in the corresponding quarter of 2008. 2009 production guidance for Kumtor was lowered to reflect delayed access to the highgrade component of the SB Zone.
