EMED Mining Public provided an update on its gold exploration program in Slovakia. Seventeen porphyry gold systems have been tested over the past two years with a combination of prospecting techniques including database interrogation, geological mapping, geochemical sampling of soils and stream sediments and drilling. Of the seventeen targets, six were rejected prior to drilling, seven have qualified for drilltesting and four are still being worked up to drilling stage. The results of the 2009 regional porphyry gold exploration program will be reported at the end of the year.
