EURO reported a profit of 7.74 million (0.12 per share) for the first nine months ended 30 September, 2009 and a profit of 3.12 million (0.05 per share) for the third quarter of 2009; this compares to a profit of 4.23 million (0.07 per share) for the first nine months of 2008 and 2.20 million (0.04 per share) for the third quarter of 2008. Substantially all of this revenue is income from the Rosebel royalty. The Rosebel gold mine produced a record 111,657 ounces of gold during the third quarter of 2009, a 28% increase from the 86,955 ounces of gold produced in the third quarter of 2008.
