Hana Mining is current focused on the development of the highly prospective Ghanzi Copper-Silver Project in northwestern Botswana, where the Company's recent exploration activities have delineated a significant target horizon with a cumulative strike length of more than 600 kilometres. Further drilling and a 43-101 compliant mineral resource are planned for 2009.
The Ghanzi project area consists of five license blocks covering 2,200 square kilometers. The project lands are host to widespread sediment-hosted copper-silver mineralization, suggesting the possibility for a future world-class Copper-Silver district.

Company NewsThursday, March 04, 2010 Hana Mining announced the completion of 9 new RC drill holes at its Ghanzi project in Botswana. The 9 new holes extend total mineralization by 1,400m along strike for two areas in the Banana Zone; the North Limb and the South Limb. Key results include 1.90% copper and 17.4 g/t silver over 7m was found in Hole HA-155-R including 3.23% copper and 29.4 g/t silver over 3m and in Hole HA-163-R intersected 2.55% copper and 31.8 g/t silver over 4m.
