Kingsgate Consolidated reported a new 20 square kilometer gold mineralised project area, called Suwan, has been identified 6-10km north of Chatree in central Thailand, beneath shallow cover. This mineralisation, if proved to be economic, has the potential to provide future ore feed for the Chatree gold mine as satellite open pits. The Suwan prospect covers an area 4km x 5km, which is similar in overall dimensions to the Chatree gold mine, with similar geology and geophysical response. Best RC drill results from wide lower grade gold mineralised zones are 57m at 1.6 g/t gold, 37m at 1.6 g/t gold. Best higher grade RC drill results to date are 7m at 7.4 g/t gold, 7m at 6.7 g/t gold, 2m at 22.5 g/t gold.
