METOREX LTD

Metorex is an established mining group which specialises in owning and managing mining projects on a decentralised profit centre basis providing technical and financial support to operational management. The Metorex Group was formed in December 1999 by means of a restructuring arrangement, which entailed the acquisition by Consolidated Murchison Limited of the interests of Metorex (Pty) Limited and certain of the interests of minority shareholders in an acquisitions at that time, being Metmin, Maranda, Wakefield, Chibuluma, Vergenoeg and O'okiep. The Metorex Group now comprises these companies together with Consolidated Murchison Mine, and the most recent acquisition, Barberton Mines.
