FOCUSED ON GOLD & ENERGY EXPLORATION - WEST AFRICA

North Atlantic Resources Ltd., formed in 1997, is a publicly listed mineral exploration Company whose shares trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange, symbol ‘NAC’.

The Company is focused on gold and energy exploration in west Africa.

NAC has seven gold projects comprising 1,236 square kilometers (305,422 acres) of mineral rights in Mali. Since 2002, the Company has made gold discoveries at the Kantela project (2004), FT project (2005), and Massala project (2006). The Company is delineating the FT gold discovery and further exploration is ongoing at Kantela, Massala, and Kourouba gold projects in Mali.

The rate of discovery and size and grade of the deposits suggests that Mali is in an explosive phase of discovery and growth of its gold mining industry, much like that of Canada a century ago.

FT gold deposit in Mali - Africa’s 3rd largest gold producer
The updated resource includes 241,000 ounces of gold at a grade of 0.95 grams gold per tonne in the Indicated category, and 353,000 ounces of gold at a grade of 1.05 grams gold per tonne in the Inferred category. Future drilling is planned to expand the gold resource along strike and down dip, and to evaluate the nature, distribution, and significance of the higher grade parts of the deposit.

Gold in Mali History Southern and western Mali are underlain by exceptionally well preserved Birimian greenstone sequences similar to those in nearby Ghana where large scale gold mining has been active for the past century. In spite of the presence of well endowed Birimian rocks, Mali is still an immature jurisdiction in its first cycle of sustained, detailed gold exploration. This is emphasized by the fact that the first modern geochemical survey was published in 1989 and the first modern airborne geophysical survey was released in June 2004.

Uranium in Niger - In 2006, the Company diversified into energy projects in the west African region and since then has been granted three uranium permits totaling 2,963 square kilometres (732,173 acres) of mineral rights in Niger. A hi-res airborne survey has commenced. Niger is the world’s 4th largest uranium producer. Oil and Gas Exploration in Mali - In February 2007, the Company was granted the 19,259 square kilometre (4,759,002 acres) oil and gas exploration permit (Macina) in the Republic of Mali and is preparing an appropriate plan for the financing and exploration of the project

North Atlantic Resources Ltd. has 22,190,408 common shares issued and outstanding (26,682,525 shares on a fully diluted basis).

Management is convinced that the diversification into uranium exploration in Niger and oil and gas exploration in Mali will expose shareholders to exceptional opportunities for value creation.
