Synergy Metals Ltd commenced a surface drilling program commenced on Tuesday 23rd June to test the southerly extension of the mineralization which exists to the north of the Homeward Bound Fault at the Glen Wills project in Victoria State, Australia. Concurrent with the 2008 drill out and resultant inferred resource update announced on 2nd June 2009 the Board received the Scoping Study prepared by the company’s consulting engineer and endorsed by Coffey Mining (advisors to the company). The results of the study are positive and indicate that a commercially sustainable mining operation can be established at Glen Wills based on full conversion of existing inferred resource base and current exploration potential to mineable reserves. Following a Board review, in conjunction with Coffey Mining, of the company’s 2008 drillout and Scoping Study, a further 4000 metre drilling program utilizing the Company owned Boart Longyear LM75 drill rig from underground positions is proposed.
