Company NewsWednesday, November 11, 2009 U3O8 Limited has begun a review of the iron ore potential on its 100% owned Olary Creek Project in South Australia. Recent competitor announcements have drawn an increasing focus to this area as a potential source of magnetite-rich iron ore. The region appears to be emerging as a new iron rich province in South Australia. A preliminary investigation of the magnetite rich unit within EL3454 was undertaken with encouraging results. Strong magnetic responses identified from aeromagnetic data have been field checked and where outcropping rocks were located, samples were collected for chemical analysis. Subsequent computer modelling of magnetic data also indicated the presence of several large scale bodies at depth, that are of a highly magnetic nature. The surface expression of these sources correlates well with the outcropping iron rich magnetic unit. As part of the review, U3O8 Limited is to determine the location of possible drill holes to test the depth extent of the iron rich bodies.
