VENTANA GOLD CORP.

Ventana Gold Corp. holds rights to prospective properties located in the historic California-Vetas mining district, lying about 400 kilometers north of the capital city of Bogota and 40 kilometers northeast of Bucaramanga in Colombia. Ventana’s La Bodega property, which is being acquired by way of option agreement, is located immediately adjacent to Greystar Resources’ 10 million ounce Angostura gold-silver deposit. Ventana continues to drill at La Bodega with the intent of defining a NI 43-101 compliant mineral resource statement in 2008. The Company recently completed an $11 million private placement and is now moving towards a public exchange listing.

In June 2006, the Company conducted preliminary testwork that included rock and channel sampling, and soil and ground magnetic geophysical surveys. The results outlined a large anomoly running southwest from the Greystar property boundary for 1.2 kilometers.  Test results returned excellent gold grades and identified an initial 750 x 250 meter target area extending immediately southwest from the Greystar property line. Ventana commenced a drilling program on the property in late 2006 to test the initial target area. Drilling a total of 84 holes totalling 20,600 meters to date, the Company released results from the first 42 holes in June 2008. Highlights included 106.5 meters of 7.81 g/t Au, 80.90 meters of 8.61 g/t Au and 27.4 meters of 17.44 g/t Au.Ventana currently has two core drills operating with plans to add two additional drills with the aim of defining a National Instrument 43-101 compliant resource estimate in 2008. The Company is also moving to become listed on a Canadian stock exchange.
