CASSIDY GOLD CORP.

Cassidy Gold announced that, further to its news release dated June 2, 2009, it has completed a non-brokered private placement of 12,130,000 Units at a price per Unit of $0.05 for gross proceeds of $606,500. Each Unit consists of one common share in the capital of the Company and one non-transferable share purchase warrant, each warrant entitling the holder thereof to acquire one additional common share in the capital of the Company at a per share price of $0.10 until July 3, 2010. All securities issued are subject to a four month hold period until November 4, 2009.
