Cassidy Gold Corp. is a gold exploration and development company focused on the acquisition and development of grassroot properties in new or under explored areas which have the potential to provide significant return on investment. The company's principal assets are its 100% interest, subject to a 15% state participation, in the Kouroussa, Tambiko, and Siguiri concessions in Guinea, West Africa.

Aggressive drilling has begun to define a resource on the Sanu Filanan and JJ Zones, and identified a number of new zones, as well as extensions to previously identified zones. To the end of 2004, drilling had inferred 315,000 oz of gold on the Sanu Filanan Zone. Several other zones, including the JJ, X-Vein, Sodyanfe and KD-1 Zones, are currently being drilled as part of an overall strategy to define and develop a gold mine at Kouroussa.
