UNIQUE GLOBAL NICHE
Make no mistake - the next "uranium super-cycle" is going to be fueled by the prolific, Athabasca Basin.
As a totally unique global niche - there's no other place quite like it - on the entire planet - and as such - with ESO Uranium’s strategically selected land package - encompassing 985,885 acres throughout The Basin - ESO has its sights' set on moving from an advanced stage exploration company - to sourcing the origins of high-grade boulder trains.
PAST DIRECTS FUTURE
With 30% of global uranium supply coming out of The Basin, ESO has reported prominent surface boulders grading up to 65.5% U3O8 on our Cluff Project. The property adjoins (AREVA's) the formerly producing Cluff Lake Mine, which produced 62.5 million pounds of U3O8, grading 0.93% uranium, during its near-surface, open-pit-life-time. De-commissioned in 2003, this is the site of ESO's most advanced stage exploration project - The Cluff Lake Project, a 50/50 joint venture with Hathor Explorations on 67,346 acres (27,254 hectares).
NEAR SURFACE ANOMALIES
ESO's 2006 drill results returned mineralization in 2 of 7 holes with grades of up to 0.82% U3O8 over one metre. The energy potential of Saskatchewan's uranium reserves is the equivalent to approximately 5.7 billion tonnes of coal or 20 billion barrels of oil - more than all of Canada's known conventional oil reserves. In 2007, a 10,000 metre - 100 hole drill program was announced. That drill program is now underway.
$6 MILLION EXPLORATION BUDGET
With a massive, world-class-uranium project, ESO is well-managed, financed, and has a detailed 2007 exploration program underway, which includes, a 100-hole drill program to test multi-parameter targets. As of Q4 2006, there were 2,179 claims and fifty-two permits held by 101 companies and individuals in The Basin of northern Saskatchewan. ESO's budget for the 2007 exploration season is $6 million.
THE GOLDEN KICKER
ESO's secondary project is its 100%-owned Mikwam Gold Project in northern Ontario, which is contiguous to Aurizon's Casa Berardi Mine in Quebec. Since going into production in Q4 of 2006, Aurizon has produced almost 50,000 oz/Au
