Exeter's Caspiche Project, Chile has resources of 19.6 million ounces of gold, 4.8 billion lbs of copper and 137 million ounces of silver.
The discovery is located midway between a 24 million ounce gold deposit (Barrick/Kinross) and a 6 million ounce gold mine (Kinross).
At the Cerro Moro project in Argentina, Exeter is advancing a 646,000 ounces gold equivalent* discovery that grades 18 g/t gold equivalent* (0.52 oz/ton). The largest vein has a grade of 34 g/t gold equivalent* (1.0 oz/ton).
Exeter is spending $21 million dollars to advance both projects.

Company NewsThursday, November 05, 2009 Exeter Resource reported the discovery of a new zone to the west of all previously known mineralization on the Escondida vein at Cerro Moro, Santa Cruz Province, Argentina. Of six drill holes, the best result to date is from hole MD666 with an interval of 2.43m from depth of 254.15m at 13.3 g/t gold and 699 g/t silver, including 0.40 m at 56.6 g/t gold and 2,473 g/t silver. Significantly, the vein is situated in a hanging wall structure above the structural position that typically hosts the Escondida vein.
