Copper-Silver in Botswana

Welcome to Hana Mining Ltd., an emerging international exploration and development company based in Vancouver, British Columbia. With an experienced, highly technical management team, the Company is seeking to acquire, explore and develop highly prospective precious, base metal and other mineral projects worldwide, with an emphasis on southern Africa.

Working toward Developing a New Copper District in Botswana, Africa

Hana Mining is current focused on the development of the highly prospective Ghanzi Copper-Silver Project in northwestern Botswana, where the Company's recent exploration activities have delineated a significant target horizon with a cumulative strike length of more than 600 kilometres. Further drilling and a 43-101 compliant mineral resource are planned for 2009.

The Ghanzi project area consists of five license blocks covering 2,200 square kilometers. The project lands are host to widespread sediment-hosted copper-silver mineralization, suggesting the possibility for a future world-class Copper-Silver district.

Property: GHANZI
Hana Mining Ltd. announce completion of 8 new RC drill holes at it’s sediment-hosted Ghanzi Copper-Silver Project in Botswana. Four of the seven reported drill holes extend the mineralized strike length in the “New Discovery” section of the Banana Zone by 600 metres, now totaling 1.6 km, further extending the Banana Zone total to 15.8 km. Higher grade mineralized zones with mineable thicknesses were evident in three of the seven holes, continuing to support the opportunity of a starter pit in this section. Hana has now identified 500 metres of mineralized strike length showing +2% copper intercepts in this section of the Banana Zone. The best result was from RC drill hole HA-58-R which returned 14m @ 2.72% copper and 64.8 g/t silver from 126 m depth.
