Hana Mining is current focused on the development of the highly prospective Ghanzi Copper-Silver Project in northwestern Botswana, where the Company's recent exploration activities have delineated a significant target horizon with a cumulative strike length of more than 600 kilometres. Further drilling and a 43-101 compliant mineral resource are planned for 2009.
The Ghanzi project area consists of five license blocks covering 2,200 square kilometers. The project lands are host to widespread sediment-hosted copper-silver mineralization, suggesting the possibility for a future world-class Copper-Silver district.

Company NewsMonday, June 01, 2009 Hana Mining announced the completion of an independent National Instrument 43-101 compliant inferred resource estimate for its Ghanzi Copper-Silver deposit in Botswana. The estimate for the global resource is 2.9 billion pounds of copper and 51.5 million ounces of silver from 163.5 million tonnes.
